Prowler Browser Toolbar Functions
The Tomcat Prowler uses a powerful IE core with no frills, to ensure the fastest browsing possible. Yet we still added some extra benefits that people wanted to see in an Internet Web Browser.This is what the Prowler Browser looks like:
Very basic Icons handle all, and there are some other added into the text menu above these Icons to make thinsg easier. NOT more complicated! We'll explain more later, for now, let's take a look at the ICONS on the Prowler Browser...
As you can see, they are very basic, yet, more. For exmaple, when you click on the yellow folder for FAVORITES, you will notice a PASSWORD function. There is detailed information for this in our FORUM to help you gain some limited control of web browsing on your home PC.
Another added feature is the ever popular POP-UP STOPPER! The white blank window Icon will have a Red Circle with a slash through it to indicate that the Pop-Up Stopper is activated. (Note; you may notice some links you desire will not work. You may have to DISABLE the Pop-Up Stopper as it may be trying to open a new window.)
The CHAT BUBBLE will take you to some VERY interesting places! Unlike others you have seen, they will be very visual and artistic. Be sure to try them out and invite your friends for an interesting place to chat together!
And last, but definately not least, is the SECURE SITE INDICATOR, which you will NOT see unless you are on a Secure Server, such as a bank, or when about to do a transaction, or Email, etcetera. We felt Internet Explorers small, itty, tiny little Padlock in the very bottom of the browser was not sufficient enough to tell someone that they are somewhere somewhat safe (The web is NEVER 100% safe and secure). Now, there is a BIG PADLOCK that will appear when you are at a safe website.

Okay, we have ORGANIZE FAVORITES, plus CHANGE PASSWORD and UNLOCK, which deals with the Password Protected Favorites function. When yu get the prowler, you SHOULD set a password and you will see how it works. Yu can CHANGE that Password here, and also UNLOCK the Favorites again here.
Notice under OPTIONS there is CLEAN-UP. This is GREAT! Click it, move mouse down, it will expand another menu. Move mouse over and down to CLEAR ALL and Click the mouse again. In TWO CLICKS you've just emptied your Cache, which is your Temporary Internet Files, as well as your Cookies, and your History as well!!!
